Empire And MIPR Teams Pro-Am Brunei Open Winners

The Empire Team and MIPR Team were the winners of the Pro-Am Brunei Open held at the Empire Hotel & Country Club yesterday

 

 

 

 

Wednesday 28 July 2010, Bandar Seri Begawan The Pro-Am Empire winning team in the morning session consisted of Angelo Que (PHI), Neelash Uppal, Daniel Ng and Azman Latip. Runner-up went to Srixon Team with Lee Sung (KOR), Leong Chee Fatt, Kenneth Lim and Hj Amir Hj Osman.

The 2nd runner-up went to Empire Team with Marcus Both (AUS), Hjh Rusni Lamat, Hjh Norhayati Masri and Daisy Teoh.

The Pro-Am MIPR winning team in the afternoon session were represented by C Muniyappa (IND), Col Aziz Abdullah, Sylvyster Yong and Hj Khairul. Runner-up went to MIPR Team with Darren Beck (AUS), Dato Sheikh Adnan, Dato Idris Belaman and Hj Yusof Daud.

The 2nd runner-up also went to MIPR Team with Mardan Mamat (SIN), Hj Shaiful Pehin Dato Ahmad, Hj Yakub and Hj Yakib.

Pehin Dato Paduka Awang Haji Hazair bin Haji Abdullah, the Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports presented the prizes to the winners.

Sheikh Jamaluddin Sheikh Mohamed, CEO of Brunei Tourism, Dato Paduka Haji Mohd Hamid bin Haji Mohd Jaafar, Permanent Secretary Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports presented the novelty prizes.

The Brunei Open is celebrating its sixth edition this year following its historic launch in 2005. The championship is organised by Brunei Tourism under the Ministry of Industry and Primary Resources in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports and once again be staged at the award-winning The Empire Hotel and Country Club.

The Brunei Open 2010 sponsors are Brunei Shell Petroleum Sdn Bhd (Title Sponsor), The Empire Hotel and Country Club (Host Venue and Official Hotel) and is also sponsored by Srixon (Official Ball), Fenix (Official Apparel), CityNeon (Official Contractor), Canon (Official Photography Equipment), DST Group Sdn Bhd (Official Telecommunications Provider), Inetol Headwears (Official Headwear), Borneo Landscaping & Grassing (BLG) and 100 Plus (Official Sports Drink).
